Friend lent her car out to a friend on sunday morning at 10am and hasn't seen or heard from him since.

car has transformers stickers on it, tinted windows, fairly cracked windshield and has a piece of folded up paper stuck in the high mount break light. If seen please call Pam at 403-830-0422

I'll keep an eye out. That bumper damage is pretty obvious too. Where was it taken from? Where does the "friend" live? Can't she just go to the cops and have them track him down?

the markings on the bumper have been painted over somewhat. No it isn't the guy in the lawn chair. vehicle last seen in evergreen area. Possible he used the car to drive to airport so he can go to work. But she is unsure and upset that she trusted him to bring the car back in the 1/2 hour or so like he said. Also I guess there is now a deceptcon sticker on the backwindow. 1 of the low beams is also burnt out (not sure which one)

Short shift? What's his work week look like?

2.5hr work weeks?

Hope you get the car back but really, you know who took it, so go file a police report.
Ever decide to go check the airport parking lot? Probably there. :dunno:

If she is single, it might not be wise to post her phone number on Beyond.

Just a friendly message.

HOLY!! This is my old car that I sold 2 and half years ago. I remember it from all the rear bumper damage and folded up paper in the brake light.

To add some more info since it seems like nothing has changed with it, I hope this is still correct. Both side mirrors have peeling paint as well and the driver side rear quarter panel has a lot of rust and a crappy primer job.

Attached is pic from few years ago.

Sucks to hear man :( I know how you feel, i had 2 theft attempts on my 96 civic earlier this year myself. Although they didn't get away with the car, they damaged it badly with a very busted steering column, it wasn't even drivable anymore.

I hope it works out for you!!

Pre 2002 civics didnt come with factory immobilizer.

I have an 02 SIR hatch, and I still installed an alarm on it - because the stupid person thinks "its a civic so its easy to steal"...

I just don't get it. Why would someone steal a car when he KNOWS he is going to get caught? (Police will have his name now, etc)

It just doesn't make sense....

Turns out the guy who took the car and some of his family are well known criminals in Calgary. I don't have any last names or anything at this point.
