i dont know much about tuning and all that
but my 1.8t wolfsburg is at 187k right now is it too late to tune it??
Judging by the overall wording of the post I assume by "tune" you mean it's stock and you would like to add performance mods?
If that's the case, it never really hurts. Do a compression test to make sure the motor isn't on its last legs and you'll be fine.

If you're talking about ECU program for more boost, if it's your original turbo, it probably won't last too long.
Mod it up, but have some money saved for a new turbo.

Great news! The Dacia Sander.... I mean you can get a new turbo and all supporting mods for something like $3k from ATP Turbo. good for 350+hp. Look into it. Or wait, let me look into that for your... yep, here it is:

Add big turbo tune + fuel kit... you're 400hp crank, but strung out like a motherfucker, all for about $3g.
