My sister wants a laptop computer for Christmas. She doesn't really know fuck all about computers and doesn't need a lot of processing power, so I'm looking for something nice and cheap. Think <$500 range. Her main stipulation is that it must be pink.

Anyone know where I could find something like that?

Just a tad over $500 but comes in a lot of diff. colors, click on the design tab to see them.

One of those would be perfect but it's far more scrilla than I wanna pay. Looking for less than $500.

Thanks tho

Sony $550. Not quite under $500 though.

On the same Dell website, Inspiron 15 is cheaper than Inspiron 14. The former one starts at $549 and after getting it in pink and removing that bag they are giving you with it, the total comes to $557.

Laptop Depot had a pink netbook when I bought one for my sister in October, I think it might be this model. It's refurbished, but cheap, it's been working great for my sis (inlaw)

edit: actually it's probably working too well... if she didn't have that, she probably wouldn't be chatting with her ex online all night, and probably wouldn't be wanting to get back together with that cheating fucking doucehbag... great... it's my fault :banghead:

This one, no questions asked, a Toshiba NB200, I have one (not in pink) and love it. Read reviews, they are excellent.

If she would be fine with a netbook then either the EEE or the Toshiba would be great, but if she wants something a bit bigger my vote goes to Dell. I just did something similar for my sister, except her requirements were that the laptop be purple, have excellent battery life and be reasonably quick at running office 07 under vista / windows 7. We went with the Inspiron 15, purple shell, 9 cell battery and a core 2 duo E6600. Total price was ~$680 at the time (2 months ago).
