Cool, so the previous engine was "hurt" already prior to getting a custom one built eh? Ah well, at least he's getting a better motor now that won't fail as fast as stock would.

The stock motor is strong, it's just that 1/2 the bolt-on crap out there is just that... crap.

Kinda wish I got the GT-R instead for my winter car...

Being able to beat a 'busa from a stop on pump gas is pretty fucking cool. And that's only 800hp haha.

Fast car, but the rider needs to learn how to launch. Looks like he left at 2k rpms

been quite a few of these running in my area here in cali now, all modified in some way, all ridiculously fast now. local gtr is at 700+ seems like 1000hp should be doable

Nothing to do with German Bias. I looked at both the C63 and the GT-R for winter, but couldn't justify having both cars as 2-seaters (the M3 really only seats 2 with the windscreen).

You don't have kids. Gotta enjoy/get those 2-seaters while you can as you just never know when you may knock up some bitch and have a little Rage1 to transport.

When I was buying my car I had seriously considered buying their project 07 STi or EVO-X. They were really good to deal with over the phone, etcs..

They advertise 2+2, but unless you're 5'5" I have no idea how you could fit someone in the back that wasn't in a child seat, so good call there. You could always look to bring in a cheap GT-R from the states as a third car. Besides the ride height, the car is a monster in the winter, not sure how it would behave with a P800 though, I've heard other owners with mods saying the cold weather in addition with aftermarket tuning has had bad effects on the car (in terms of drivability and technical problems).

Is there such thing as a cheap GTR even used?

Good point, relatively of course. You can find some used 2009's for mid 60K USD down there. So even at 70K CAD after all is said and done, that is alot cheaper then the 100K they sell for new here.
