Facebook Chat Issue

Not sure how common this problem is.

I have facebook chat open talking to someone, whenever they are typing something my entire computer goes to the point of freezing almost right away. Once they have sent their message, it goes back to normal. It gets impossible to use my computer when I'm talking to 2 or more people.

Has anyone heard of this problem, and possibly have a remedy?

I just got the latest Firefox, but I've been using 3.5.5 for the last while and still seems to be a problem with 3.5.6.

The only way is to ignore some people, and chat with 1 person at a time, even then, when that 1 person is typing, sending, etc... I still get the freeze up.

I got that same problem

Say I have Facebook open in one tab, and then beyond open in another.

If I am typing a reply on Beyond, if someone sends me a facebook chat message I cannot keep typing my beyond reply unless I go, click off on the facebook chat, respond to facebook chat, and then come back here and start typing again.
