Looks like it has a fleet sticker on it. It may be company vehicle.

Because you can get a ticket for plates not being readable... so the fleet sticker could also mean government/ cops, office, etc...

Do they actually enforce it though?During our snowstorm here, tons of lazy drivers never cleared they license plate from snow, hell some drives didn't even clear their rear window from snow, not sure how they could drive like that.

There is a thread on beyond where a guy got a reprimand from the CPS for not cleaning his plate..... not sure if there was a VT involved.

Yes they do. I got one last winter. It was $115. To make things worse I had just spend $40 on a car wash at my work a few days before I got the ticket. :banghead:

most Japanese cars aren't even built in japan anymore. might as well save a couple thousand and just buy a chevy.

Danny, go sit in one. Ford really stepped up the interior finish in their new models. Picture doesn't do it justice.

The new Fusion, for example, surprised the hell out of me. Even the Mustang, they finished it with soft-touch materials instead of the usual stiff plastic.

damn that interior doesn't look that bad :D, but for 50k i'm not sure i'll be willing to spend that much.:(

Or a 335xi sedan, except that you're giving up 65 horsepower. And those cars get really expensive once you start adding options - the absolute maximum you'll pay for a loaded SHO is $53,529 (they've got $2,500 dealer cash off, so $51,029 if you want to get picky).

If you want performance, and branding isn't everything to you, it's hard to overlook the SHO as a potential buy.

Interior looks fine, minus that steering wheel. Something about that steering wheel bugs me.

True, TD
The sho drives nice, it's powerful and with Ford doing a good job recently, is a good buy.
Another one I like for roughly the same price is the Genesis sedan ... in either engine choices. For 50, both cars are very fast / nice.

I am not very educated about the SHO, so bare with me.

Although those competing brands do have less horsepower, I am more curious if it is the same "tons of power sounds great" behind the ford or is it comparable as well in the handling department?

even still 50k is alot for a Taurus:dunno:

Taurus is a full size sedan. C class and 3 series are about the size of the Civic interior wise.

You can option up a new TSX close to 45K with a V6. RL is in the 60K range, Even the IS250 can cost close to 50 grand if you go crazy with the options. New cars are expensive these days :nut:

Front-biased AWD system doesn't sound like a fun car to drive.

Danny Meehan

front bias - the same as the AWD TL
which is less of a car . go test drive both, it's free

You must win a lot of debates.

I liked the old SHO, there was just something about it. This one seems to follow up nicely.
