If I wanted to change the way a house was heated, and was unsure of what the best plan of attack was, who would you call? Would a regular HVAC guy be able to sort it out?

example, A home heated with oil and I wanted to put in a pellet stove.. But I'm unsure if it should be on main level and rely on the air flow (and enjoy the fire place in the living room).. Or if it should be in the basement, and if so how would you circulate heat throughout the house.. (out of sight, and no need to carry pellets thru the house every day)

The layout of the house doesn't lend itself to air movement that well I don't think. And the concerns I have is, if I put it on the main floor, I'd still have to rely on oil for the basement.. If I put the pellet stove in the basement it keeps my living space free, but I don't know how to get heat upstairs evenly.. etc.

It's oil/hot water now. So I suppose an oil/pellet boiler would be ideal.... Hrmmm off to google if such thing exists! :dunno:
