remote starter in Mazda6

I am trying to unplug the remote starter module from my car and having no luck finding it anywhere. Have been successfully able to locate the security/key bypass switch just underneath the ignition switch but can not find the module itself. My car is a 1st generation Mazda6.

I have looked under the steering column, peeked under the instrument cluster and under the seats. The only place left is behind the center console. Before I start taking the kick panels apart, any one driving a similar car with remote starter installed have suggestions where the installer might have tied it.

if it's compustar usually the brains are behind the instrument cluster

sometimes put behind glove box area in mazda's..not sure about older ones..

Thanks guys found it. It was installed right under the instrument cluster. Very cleverly hidden.
