Best Wine Tasting Type Session?

Looking for something for my parents. A wine tasing/info type session. What liquour stores/places have this sort of thing and what kind of price should I expect? Any good or bad experiences?

I haven't been personally to any of their tastings but the store definitely has a good reputation in our city for being knowledgable about what they sell.

Also, Crowfoot Liquor, J Webb, Willow park, Bin 905 etc.
Most wine stores do these sessions.
Pick one near their house, you don't want them driving very far. Ideally, they'd take a cab or get thier loving son to drive them.

Or get tickets to wine fest in February. Huge show with every kind of wine out there.
