Description :

Im selling my winter daily because im in the market for a pickup.

-The car has a 2.5L KLDE V6 (164 hp / 160 ft-lbs tq) from a MX-6. The engine was sourced from JDM source and installed this past summer.

-Comes with winters and summer tires: Firestone Firehawk GT's for the summer, GT Champiro Winters.

-Has a aftermarket Pioneer Premier deck installed.

-Car is equipped with manual windows, no ABS, and no sunroof. The car has functioning air conditioning. However, the previous owner installed power locks and a alarm on the car. However, the power locks only work on the driver side door.

-The car has no rust anywhere.

-The timing belt and tensioner was recently replaced (November 2009)

The Bad:

-The front bumper is fairly beaten up. Theres several cracks on the bumper. There is also some very light damage on the hood.

-The cruise control is not hooked up on the car.

- As mentioned previously, the passenger power door lock actuator is not functioning properly. The passenger door locks fine.

-The car is throwing an OBD I code: Code 69 - ECTF. This is due to the fact that it is using a ECU out of a 1993 MX-6. The car runs and drives fine. The only thing the code does is that it will run the rad fans all the time when the car is at operating temperature. This is because in 1993 Mazda had 2 separate sensors for the fans where as 1994 and onwards, Mazda switched to a one fan sensor setup. So the options for the check engine light are:

1) Just leave the fans running all the time when the car is at operating temp

2) Find a 1994/1995/1996 MX-6/Probe ECU (I may be able to help with this)

3) Use a 1993 MX-3 wiring harness

4) Install the 1.8L MX-3 ECU/MAF sensor (both of these will be included with the sale) and have the car run slightly rich.

Other than that, the car runs extremely well. It had no problems starting in the recent cold snap.
