We had the best christmas in years. Had the whole family to our house for the first time, did the stockings and presents then I made creme brulee french toast and it was amazingly good. Just the fun family time was worth it (especially when added to an amazing turkey dinner at my parent's house!), but on top of it all, everything I could have even remotely imagined wanting was under the tree. Warning: Any comments about getting in the kitchen and making pie or knowing where my place is will result in a good old fashioned merry christmas ban :D
