command start 290i

not sure if im posting this in the right spot .i bought a new romote and i read the forums . i programed the romote and it starts but it runs for a few seconds thens shuts off . while it runns it sounds like the starter is still engaged . does anyone have a copy of how to reprogram this unit any help would be much appreciated. my e-mail is rklatt@mts .net

Sounds like a bypass problem, what year and make is your car?

it's a 1995 dodge stratus . i think it has something to do with the tach setting but i dont know how to reprogram the unit
