Those things are pretty damn quick! Why did my turbo have to be off!!! hahahaha

Nice guy though. Relatively dry roads, but still, spun the tires in 2nd for a while, so I guess there was still some moisture. Anyway, he was behind me and then while gunning it, he flew by me and when about a car or two in front he stepped on the brakes. Fast car! I hope I get a chance to encounter him again! hahah:angel:

STi's are cheaper and faster than M3's right? i belive a STi has 333hp and the M3 has 300hp ... correct me if im wrong...

stock to stock e46 is faster from the comparisons and reviews I read. It's pretty subjective to the driver IMO, so yea they are pretty close. But the M3 has bling factor

It looks like the STi would need a pretty good driver, the wiehgt of the vehicles are fairly similar, my guess would be due to the Subarus AWD components, but id definately be curious to see who would win in the 1/4 (stock vs. stock), E46 vs. Sti that is...

i disagree...while they dont mean EVERYTHING, they certainly do mean SOMETHING

if one car consistently does high 11s while another consistently does high 12s at similar altitudes, its a safe bet the 11 sec car is faster! ;)
