My room mate a good buddy of mine when to Mexico for a month for his birthday and I saw the christmas present wrapping idea on beyond so i decided to tinfoil his whole room :)

I went out today and bought 23packs of tinfoil

After a few minutes of working on this project I realized I am going to need tape and LOTS of it..

so I started to cut some peices

Anyone have any ideas what I can do to the room? He his a huge canadians fan and hates the flames, so I was thinking off putting my 2 flames jerseys on his wall..

Any other suggestions? He comes back Jan 7th so i need to have this done before then :)

A good one to do that would be an absolute dick move is cover the floor/bed with plastic plates full of water.. Cups are easy to pick up without spilling - plates are hard as hell to balance so he'll spill a lot.. Lay them out and fill them with water from a bottle so you don't make a mess doing it..

I mean, you can use less plates to cover more area than you can with cups.. so you'll spend less money.

Not too sure how well the water-in-plates scheme would work though...since the water is in a plate, it'll evaporate more easily (larger surface area exposed to the air). If I saw a bunch of water-filled plates I'd just crank up the heat and wait for enough of the water to evaporate so that the plates could be moved aside easily.

Wouldn't icing sugar be easier to fill balloons with as opposed to flour? I remember filling beer bottles with flour and throwing them around as a kid and it wasn't very exciting.. Icing sugar would flow into the balloon better than flour and it would more than likely explode better than flour.

I ended up using 30 rolls of tinfoil which prob came out to $35? and used 2 rolls of tape which I just grabbed from my dads house so that was $0 and I borrowed the strobe light from another buddy, and the gum was free so in total this has costed me $35

The floor is falling apart right now, I am going to put more tinfion on the ground so it is easy 2 walk and and doesnt fall apart anymore....
