srt 4

I believe that everyone here keeps forgetting a couple of things. The srt 4 has a ricer engine. It's made by a little company called MITSUBISHI. The transmision is new and designed by half of the team that developed the viper transmission. Hnssy has eliminated the wheel hop with the combination of the MOPAR coil-over springs and a few other slight mods. For the 5000 I spent to make these changes to my car ( which is still less than what the EVO and the STI cost) straight line racing is no longer the only you guys have to worry about. This car will eliminate the STI and Equal the EVO all for less money. It is not a NEON. That is just the body shape Dodge chose to use to decimate imports. Its kinda of funny when you all get beat by a neon isn't it.

The turbo is made by Mitsubishi, not the Engine.

Is straight line speed that important ? yeah . may be for some people they never tried some nice cars.

No Doubt, the neon Turbo is probaby the fastest car for the money, ( $19000 us ? $29K can ?) but history is repeating.... a 1988 Mustang V8 is way faster then a 1988 Celica GTS, and $10,000 less back then.. so ?
