I was in Brasil a year ago and had these peanuts in Rio. I also had them in Mexico and they were advertised as "Japanese Peanuts"? They are a standard peanut covered in a crunchy outer coating/shell... Does anyone know if these are available locally at all?

I think I know what your talking about. I've bought them from T & T, Luckys. They're in the shape of a ball right, and the coating is brown and crunchy and a bit sweet

They come in a metal tin at T & T, the logo is a child or man in the front

Canadian/Whiteman peanuts are the best.

Nagaraya? You can get those at superstore and TnT. Crunchy shell in different flavours with a nut inside. If that's not what it is get them anyways they're delicious! Lol

Similar but not the kind OP is talking about. Looks like I'll have to go to T & T and buy some 2morrow
