The only good vampire film I’ve seen since forever has been “Let the Right One In”

Agreed. You should see the film from Japan "Thirst" by director Chan-wook Park.

Daybreakers looks dumb. Just another hollywood production jumping on the vamp bandwagon

This looks like a pretty good movie, reminds me of 'I Am Legend', 'Blade', and 'Resident Evil' all in one haha.

tell me how does this look dumb? It doesn't look anymore dumb than Let the Right One In. This actually has some decent talent behind it, don't confuse it with conventional hollywood crap.

Thirst is one of the most messed up movies I have seen. I really liked Old Boy/Sympathy for Mr/Mrs Vengeance but geez Thirst was just f'd up. I came into it with a open mind and expectation knowing Park's previous films, but i couldnt finish this one.

I don't think I can be bothered with the vampire genre anymore. Let the right one in, in my eyes, is hard to top

I wasn't expecting a lot from this movie and even still, the theatre ended the movie with a bunch of laughs, myself included.

The beginning started out well, I like how they presented the vampuric society. But it just went straight down hill, fucking ridonkulous the entire way out.

Save your dollars for something else, this one just isn't worth it at all.

Haha, any chance you were at the 10:30 show at chinook? Everyone was laughing at many parts in the movie.

But yea, ending was pretty brutal. At least it was free for me.

Dude, the movie is Korean, not Japanese... even the director's name is Korean...
