What the hell? Bringing down everyone's education level to that of the struggling students? That's f'ing ridiculous.

Paul Gibson, an alternate parent representative on the School Governance Council, said that information presented at council meetings suggests that the science labs were largely classes for white students. He said the decision to consider cutting the labs in order to redirect resources to underperforming students was virtually unanimous.

Excellent work you dumbasses. This plan actually has merit, but now it'll be a giant shitstorm.

Maybe they should have stuck with this: We have a fixed budget, and a whole bunch of students doing very poorly. We are going to redirect the money from bonus classes towards making sure that these students don't get left behind, become a drain on society, blah blah blah.

How about this:

California can worry about their shit, and we can worry about ours. The school system there is nothing like what we have here.

Seriously, this is not worth being posted on a discussion group in Canada.

Certain things yes, but while our airline industries (one example) might be tied together, their ideas behind education is not the same as ours.

^ Then it's important that we as Canadians are aware of what makes our system better.

Who are you to decide what gets posted?
