So I started getting into a a christmas gift basket today and found a package of these things called Chip Nuts, they are cocktail sized peanuts with a crispy potato coating the only way I can describe it is a peanut wrapped in a pringle chip. It was bar food exctasy in my mouth. They come in a bag that looks similar to corn nut packaging. I have been to 7-11, safeway, and sobeys and cant find them anywhere. I tried googling them and cant find them anywhere. I found that they are a company out of Ontario that has 7 stores and they can be found at select convenience stores But I cant find them anywhere.

I live in edmonton and have went to 12 grocery stores and prob 30+ gas stations in the last 2 days with no luck

I am hoping that someone here knows what I am talking about and can help me find them

A similiar thread also popped up asking the same question.

I know of a asian product at T & T, it comes in a tin, coating is crunchy and slightly sweet.

Were these the ones you were talking of?

The have different flavours so maybe one might be similar to the one you're looking for boarder?

I have tried Munchies Nuts as a substitue but they are not quite the same. I will have to head to TNT and try those other ones. I placed an order for a case online, but would still like to find them locally if possible

I bought those exact ones before but I can't remember from where? Might have been Mac's or it may have been the convenient store in Bankers or Husky building that charges 3x what normal shops charge.

hahaha this is so funny... I was on a mad search for these a while ago. Cannot find them ANYWHERE! So I finally gave up...

You've sparked my craving again though, I'm gonna call those stores in Ontario tomorrow, and see how much stock they have and if they ship out west. If so I'll ask for a deal on a bulk purcahse... Beyond group buy?
