At night, while driving, I notice my windshield is very glary. Every time I pass a car or a street light I can see a huge glare that spans the entire size of the windshield (it's a big old line).

What should I do?

Clean BOTH sides of your windshield. Glass itself will not do this, there must be something else on the glass. It's not a stupid suggestion.

Newspaper and water. Followed by a light detergent and a microfiber cloth. final clean with water and a CLEAN microfiber. Clean in a warm area. Allow the car to let the excess moisture out.

Thanks for backing me, I hate seeing all the people driving around with SUPER hazy windshields, complaining about how they "cant see anything outa this P.O.S." when they have been smoking in it for 3 years and it would literally take 5 minutes to clean the INSIDE of the windows....... and discover the stars :)

I don't somke, so that's not the problem.

I do take my 7 cats with me sometimes when I'm going away for a while and they piss on the seats (Mitzy's really bad for that), but I don't see how that could affect the windshield.

Newspaper has this really nice quality that pick up oils and grime. Then the microfiber cloth picks up the remainder. with a light detergent. Last step is to ensure there are no streaks from detergent which are noticeable if/when you start fogging up.

This is such a troll thread, but I'll bite anyways.
Newspaper is actually pretty amazing for windshields, it doesn't leave any streaks or lint like microfiber. If you are still too high class to use newspaper, get some glass cleaning paper towel. Then get some stoners invisible glass and clean the shit out of your windshield, its probably coated in residue from evaporated cat piss. Good luck!:facepalm:
