Was driving by this mess a few nights ago, took a few snaps. I truly don't understand how their car ended up perpendicular to the road through the fence...

Well, I guess hitting the fence is better then the stone post/wall a few feet away.

Pretty simple, lost control, probably over corrected, and bam off into the fence.

There's no tire tracks so I'm guessing the car was there before hand and when the plows came by the car slid into the fence.

Odd...

I agree, the lack of tire tracks is quite strange.

However suggesting a plow has been down that street is crazy talk, we live in Calgary. ;)

:dunno: How should anyone know how that car got there in this spot without tire tracks showing? Not me, but my best theory is that it must had went skipped over the road onto snow way before where these photos didn't show. the car may had made a turn around and hit the fence and stopped there.

see the mark on left side (driver's side) of the car - the black line? That's what led me to think that way...

Again :dunno: ... but who cares? This is Calgary anyway!

Thats the third accident in that intersection in the past few months, a van was on its roof in the middle of the intersection and another car went through the fence kiddy corner to that accident
