First, say your in charge of a team. You paid for the team registration as a whole. Each member on the team is under no legal obligation to pay you but you insist that he does out of good heart.

Second, you plan on purchasing team jerseys, he either doesn't respond.

Are there any legal measures to obtain your money?

What happens if he refuses to pay you?

From your broken grammer, I suspect there's a cheap skate on your team? Don't order a jersey for him, make sure no one on the team ever buys him a beer.

There is a deadline for which the rosters cannot be modified and that is coming up before our first match.

Yes.

I guess nothing can be done.

Don't buy a jersey for him if you haven't ordered them yet and let him stick out like a sore thumb wearing his own shirt for being a cheap skate.

Money upfront. Simple.

No legal obligation, go to the league, chances are they will be reasonable. Let you replace or at least make sure he can't play.

YOU are in charge of the team.... if the player doesnt pay you, he isn't on it, regardless of whether his name is registered or not. Don't put his name on game sheets and request that the league remove him from your roster.

Other players on the team who paid should feel the same - they paid, so why play with someone who didn't.

The risk of owning a team is dealing with deadbeats. The upside is YOU can decide that they dont' play.

I'd put him on the roster, but make it clear to him that he can't play until he pays up or sets up a payment plan, or whatever. Don't be weak and let him play anyway - play short, otherwise it's not fair to those who actually paid.

If you've got someone who will pay that you can replace him with before the deadline, do it.

Maybe there's a league rule that requires certain things to be contributed? Kind of like living in an apartment/condo (forced to pay certain stuff, pay to play)

He can play, but he doesn't get a jersey.

The other players will sort him out.
