How does one appear to drive a stolen car?

I'm also curious as to what made you think it was stolen...

Was the window smashed out? Could you see a screwdriver sticking out of the ignition?

Very curious as to what gave you the indication it was stolen.

If the vehicle isn't reported stolen I don't think the cops will do much.

Moral of the story:

Don't let the OP catch you driving with your window down, he'll think it's busted out and you'll find him dusting your car for prints.

Recovering a stolen vehicle isnt a HUGE priority for the CPS.

If you gave them the location, it might take a few hours, depending on the time of day/week, but they'll get there.

If it was in the process of being stolen, then there wouldve likely been more shit hitting the fan

The police will make a note of it and send someone when they can. It is possible with the warm weather they (Dr Plow) has not been busy and had their vehicles parked at a storage lot or something and don't know it is missing...

I always thought it was pretty obvious when a car has been stolen... stereo missing, cracked ignition cover, contents of the car strewn all over (at least ours were).

Nice one Sherlock, stick to solving mysteries and leave the hard things like spelling to the pros.

By reading your OP I got the indication that you saw the vehicle being driven around, hence my (and others) statements.

If you had been more clear there wouldn't have been a problem.
