Okay, so I know how to add artwork the standard way. My question is when iTunes can't find the artwork for the album. Is there another database you can check to get the artwork? For instance, I can't get any AC/DC artwork onto my iPhone. Can I check another database instead of the standard iTunes library to see if there is artwork for these albums?

Are you sure the album name metadata is correct? I'm surprised a band as popular as ac/dc isn't in apple's db...

AC/DC isn't available on iTunes. So the album artwork isn't available through the store. Doing some digging around though, and it looks like I can add it manually. I just need to find the album artwork and add it under "Get Info" on the song/album dropdown menu. Not as easy as I was hoping, but it'll work I guess.

WTF there's an automatic way?

If you're serious, yes. It's under the "Advanced" tab when viewing your music collection. Look for "Get Album Artwork". As long as the album is available on iTunes, it will get the artwork for you.

Just find the image on google, select the songs in itunes and literally just drag the artwork into the area where you'd normally see the coverart.

Amazon.com is also a good source for artwork. It's where I usually get mine from.

Highlight all albums, right click, get album artwork. Easy as that giventhr albums are in iTunes db as mentioned.

I tend to use Sloth Radio when the album cover cannot be found.
