why can't the car move?

damage looks pretty minimal.

To clarify things, the left front suspension components are damaged, needs new L FR axle, hub and bearing, lower control arm, etc.

From the information given: he hit a curb and because it cant move im sure he hit it pretty freaking hard. Axles and control arms could all be fawked. More detailed pictures and info are definitley needed from the OP as to what is actually damaged.

No, went over a curb, car was lowered. Resulting in the damage.
