View Full Version : Shaw Digital Cable Help!

Hey guys, so i just bought a cable box off a member of the board. When I first got it I plugged it into the wall making everything worked for about 15 minutes. Then I phoned shaw to make sure the cable box was not stolen, when they told me that there was a "balance due" on the box (did not say how much or what kind of cost). Could this cost be from my plan? If not will this cost be transfered onto my account because I plugged it into the wall?

no... it shouldnt be a problem... however you might be SOL until the previous owner of the box pays his cable bill
