I messed up my front bumper on my 06 Civic sedan sliding into a snow bank. The front right corner basically lifted and there is a 5 inch crack in the bumper right below the headlights (the headlight's ok thank goodness). Having absoultely no car-fixing experience, I'm wondering how much it will be to get an autobody to replace the bumper? I've gone through many a posts in various forums and I'm reading roughly $400-$800 for the part, the paint, and the labour? Any recommendation on an autobody shop in the NW?

Also, is it even worth getting my insurance involved?

Thanks!

I had the bumper replaced on my Civic, I still have the work order here somewhere. It's $450 for the bumper and about $600 for parts and labour. In total it was just over $1000.

I got excellent bodywork done on my car at British Auto Specialists just off Edmonton Trail (And yes they do bodywork on anything).
