"Import Concern" Problem.

So I made a deal with David at import concern.

I had an acquaintance driving through edmonton that said he could pick up the item and deliver it for a fee.

So anyway, David says it's perfect, and my friend can pick up the stuff anytime, and gave my his phone number.

Low and behold, the next day, and he disappears from the face of the earth. No answer from his phone, and no answer from txt's and email either.

So now I have to pay the fee anyway since the delivery guy sat in edmonton for a couple hours waiting for him to pick up his damn phone. Nice.

I would have just got the items shipped, but a 300zx dashboard costs a ton to ship.

He better have a REALLY good excuse for this.

You should have probably set up a specific pick up time while you were on the phone with David before calling your delivery guy. Either way it sucks that he didn't reply to your calls or emails. That's unprofessional and is a pet peeve of mine.

ya, David said that anytime day or night would be fine, and just to call him.


I'm sure there will be an excuse like " lost my phone, or had a sick relative... :nut:

sounds to me like "I slept in, and missed your first call, and then didn't want to face up to it, so I ignored all phone calls after that."

When you said that David said you can pick up your stuff anytime im pretty sure you still have to set up a time with them as they dont have a shop. If your buddy just called him out of the blue one day ready to pick up the stuff when David was in school or at work or something ofcourse he wouldnt pick up. With Importconcern anytime = set up a time with me(in advance) and i will meet you there.

be real, set up a time you want to have it done and have some structure.

your loose end was not setting up a actual meeting time.

Import concern was one of the first, and still is one of the biggest JDM car importers. Christian has personally sourced me many parts that have been quality and authentic for relatively good pricing. Fair. Import concern is a reputable company, and either way this situation will not effect the overall popular opinion of them. They are also beyond sponsors, or atleast used to be and are fairly well known in the community.
