Does anyone else have a 2007 Camry?
I don't know how to describe the problem.
It's some clips that are expensive if you get them replaced from a Toyota dealership.
The clips always fall out...
They are supposed to make sure those plastic covers don't come down and get scratched...

I decided to zip-tie it...
Are there any better ways to fix it?

There's no warranty on that? :dunno:

Find the part number, order it online and DIY.

Whats wrong with zip-tie? To me I think that is a perfectly good way to fix your problem without buying the expensive clips from the dealership.

Besides the clips will probably break again when the next big snowfall comes and the snow starts to scrape against that plastic tray.

If that undertray has been hit in any kind of way, ie: snowbank, etc... I don't see why it would be warranty related. Or it could be something as simple as someone not putting them back in. Yes there's a way to fix it, cut off your zip ties, go to the dealer and get new clips. They aren't expensive.

I don't think that the clips are necessary, seems like the zip ties will do the job just fine. :dunno:

those fall off all the time.... due to people hitting a snow bank or parking block.. no warranty, 1 clip will probably cost you about 6 bucks... really not all that expensive...

6 Bucks isn't expensive. unless its a clip the size of a dime that costs 4 cents to produce.

it probably is marked up drastically, but i guess if he wants to fix it properly then 6 bux really isn't all that much...
