I have the Lumina Z34 for sale and this car is almost flawless. it has very low kms on it and not to brag but it will stomp on Z24's.
even in a stick. besides the fact that the stick in the luminas keps blowing clutches and geers. Before I bought this car I wanted a cavalier as well, until I saw the lumina and fell in love!!! I've test drove Z24's since and no comparison with power. I have 215+ hp because of my K&N air filter and some exhaust mods.
Come and have a look and take it for a spin.
Willing to bargin the price for you, considering your looking for a similar car as mine. Any questions let me know!
Thanks

Since you brought it up, I'll answer.
Your Z34 does 1/4 mile times of 15.8 @ 89.1MPH stock
<Source: http://www.geocities.com/luminaz34page/ and http://www.angelfire.com/pa3/ford/performance1.htm >
That doesn't say whether it's a stick or auto either (We both know the stick will get the better time).

You think you'll still "stomp" on a 5 speed V6 Z24?

Now, if you look on the same page, they have a 1986 Z24 running 16.7 in the quarter. That's with the 120HP 2.8L I assume. So with an additional 20HP-25HP, better gearing (Which you all get with a 92 Z24) you'll easily be low 16's.

Which would make it a drivers race.

Hell, even the Ecotec Z24's (Which are in his price range if your Lumina is) run high 15's bone stock, and cost the same price.

Yeah I worked on z34's when I had my 89 z24...I had a couple engine mods, but the fact is, z34's are heavier than shite!

If your looking for a nice z24 buy and auto trader, or go on www.canadatrader.com Thats where I found mine, theres tonnes.
