Just wondering if any beyond'ers are into working with Single Board computers...

Such as the Soekris, WRAP, etc...?

What are you looking to do with them? I've worked with the Soekris boards and some equipment provided by Valemount Networks in the past.

I enjoy fiddling with sbc' etc, and mini-itx stuff is fun also.

Im currently working on a mini linux build for mpd mpc client (mp3 player) for my stereo.

Linux 2.4.25, w/ BusyBox, ulibc, dropbear, mpd, some mpc client, front lcd, (lirc/lcdproc combo), lighthttpd maybe.

Well thats the plan anyways.

You got a good source for these sbc's? that isnt costing me a testicle?

Im also looking for cheap DOM's.

It's just a hobby of mine.

Just wanted to see if there were any users on Beyond that messed around with them..

I've always been a wireless junky, which is what got me into the SBCs...

I've got a net4801 that I play with from time to time.

Also got one of those WatchGuard Firebox's that I hacked up and got Fedora running on.
