Anyone have any info or opinions on these cars? I was a die-hard mopar fan until the last couple of years (still am, but not liking anything new new new). So my alternative is a Mitsubishi Lancer. Has the interior quality increased since the '95ish eclipses?

They are reliable cars but like most cars in the segment nothing spectacular unless you get into the performance models. The interior styling is on the plain side, the dash plastics are hard so it's never going to be confused with a luxury car. There are better interiors in the compact class.

On the plus side they are probably the most handsome cars in the segment, performance with the 2.4L engine is pretty adequate, and reliability should be as good or better than all other cars in the same class outside maybe the Civic or Corolla.

^^^ Agreed. The interior doesn't even try to hide the fact it is cheap. If you start looking into the GT or the GTS models, that's when you begin to get your money's worth. IMO

Overall, it is a good buy!
