refund for movie tickets bought online

I bought a bunch of movie tickets online at cineplexodeon.com for a showing of Avatar in IMAX. I since have found out that I have a few too many tickets and wanted to know if I'll be able to get a refund or exchange at the theatre?

The print out says that all sales are final and that no refunds or exchanges will be given for tickets bought online. I guess I would be happy with just passes in return for the unused tickets, though the IMAX tickets cost $5 more than normal tickets.

Try it at the theatre to see if you can convert them to gift certs or something.

They rarely give you cash back.

Worst comes to worst, just take em with you to the theater and give them away to people buying or sell them for $5 to people at the same showing...

Never heard of them exchanging them for future passes/credit though.

Usually that's what they do if you bought tickets and friend didn't show.

But not sure if they will do it for online tix.
