RECOVERED: 1992 Honda Civic Hatch PEM 673 Jan 27/ 28

Hey Beyonders... Need some CSI work..

My teal 1992 Honda EG was in my alley last night (Jan 27) in the Beddington area... Woke up this morning (Jan 28) and it was gone...
Turned hysterical, called the cops and reported it stolen, and now Im turning to you all for help.

I LOVE this car...Please help me get it back.

This is what it looks like....
Its got a few aftermarket parts on it that Im sure some people would steal for........
There is also some "character" added to the rear of the car that needs a paint job, there is no other teal civic that needs a paint job like mine!

okie it might be a bit hard to spot that it needs a paint job if the car is super durty but will keep an eye out i always see these cars around in diff colors good luck

It's recommended from what I've read.
They have a very high compression ratio.

I have read that motors like that need at least 91.

Comp is 10.4:1 I think.

Still no civic :( and havent heard or seen anything.
Call impound every 16 hours, they still dont have it.

Im still driving streets looking for it day and night, and checking marketplace/ kijiji for parts to get sold.

I sat waiting at my insurance companies office for 45 minutes today to talk to them about insurance for my wrx and to see whats happening with my civic payout..... turns out I'm not getting ONE DAMN CENT :cry: :bullshit:
so aside from yelling at the guy who was sitting there being a big dick acting like he didnt give a shit that i was paying insurance for pretty much nothing every month,

I may have found my civic motor being parted out.... :whipped: pumped to go see if its mine.

Keep a look out for EG parts, don't confront the seller, but get enough information, and then let the good researchers at Beyond do the digging... keep a lookout on usedcalgary, kijiji, craigslist, buysell, etc...

hey everyone!
quick update....

cops called me last night (feb 12) asking if my civic was still missing because they pulled over 5 guys driving it down 17th...

all 5 have several weapons and drug charges previoulsy against them, and now theyre all have possession of stolen property too (court dates are pending)

the car is in absolutely beat:
-doesnt drive a straight line
-suspension is shot so bad it feels like the car limps
-doenst shift into 2nd and barely 3rd gear
-vtec no longer works
-rod knocks so loud and timing belt slips constantly (it just clacks and squeals down the road)
-the assoles broke literally every piece of plastic trim inside.. glovebox, center console, cupholders, vents, all of it was broken
-the ignition is so mangled it sparks while driving

however, i do have it back with all the parts still attached. so i guess thats alright..


so THANK YOU AGAIN EVERYONE that was keeping eyes out for it!!!

however when i went to talk to them about cancelling my truck policy, and insuring my wrx they told me that i wouldnt be paid out fo rmy civic because black book value was not enough for a 92 civic.

hey everyone, you all make some pretty good points regarding insurance and as of the last week im still waiting on my adjuster to call me back...

anyways, here are a few pics posted up of the damage.
we managed to have a look at the motor and make it run in a marginally less than par shape again (at least its running).
suspension needs to be replaced, rims are bent and needs to be replaced, and the ignition is gonna have to be repaired.
obviously as well there are minor things to be fixed too (side markers ripped off, hid wires cut, plastic interior pieces broken, weatherstripping removed, windows reset in the tracks, and the passenger door to open, etc....)

all in all.... they topped up the motul and the coolant levels so im surprised that they stole it then DIDNT beat the piss out of it! (stuuuupid kids man....)
