does anyone know if there is a way to get an ballpark number of Mercedes Benz' in the Calgary and surrounding area?

I've tried google searches and i can't seem to narrow it down to a specific manufacturer. i was only able to find the total number of cars registered in Calgary.

any help would be appreciated!

Out of every 100 cars you see how many are Mercedes? Average that out over total residents.

that would be a very poor method... subjective to where you live/drive...

Take multiple photos from overpasses of major motorways and just count at home. That way you get the best average of vehicles, regardless of original location - even go during and after rush hour to average out the difference between office jockeys and soccer moms.

Ex: Deerfoot Trail from the Southland overpass.

I think easiest way is to check the database at a local registry (if they would let you) or call LoneStar, assuming everyone gets their car serviced there.

I've already talked to a manager at Lone Star and he couldn't even ball park how many there were in the city and surrounding area... :(

i may have to resort to the standing at an overpass idea... thats gonna suck ass.

Probably about the same number of BMW owners who have had cosmetic surgery.

2009 is MB's best year ever @ 26K sold in Canada

http://www.mercedes-benz.ca/index.cfm?NewsID=368&id=7873

1999 MB sold 12K Canada wide.

http://www.mercedes-benz.ca/index.cfm?NewsID=18&id=2962

I'm not sure what you are looking for exactly but you can probably make some assumptions base on those numbers.

Just ball park it. Your prof isnt gonna know either. So its not like exact numbers matter.

You're making it harder then it actually is.
