Description : I'm selling my Eclipse that I bought about 8 months ago, I bought the car just to have a nice toy, I had it tuned by Toma in Calgary, then I drove it for about a week and decided to change a couple little things, I tried swapping the Cam Angle Sensor to a different model and move the battery to the rear of the car, after that the car would not start for me. I've played around with it but got tired of it, I'd rather just cut my losses and sell it to someone who wants to fix it.

It's not that easy, when you switch the CAS to the 1G version you don't need the crank angle sensor, so I had to remove the line that runs to it. In order to go back to the stock 1995 CAS a person would need to re-solder the crank angle sensor wiring which isn't in a very nice spot. Then you would have to replace the 1995 CAS which is under the intake sprocket which is a horrible thing to get to.

It makes more sense to figure out where I went wrong with the 1G CAS installation, since the 1G CAS is easy to access and gives you the ability to alter the timing if needed for tuning. If I spent time on this I could probably figure it out, but I just am not interested in it anymore. I have other cars and other projects that I want to do, so I am willing to take a loss to not have this car taking up space in my garage.
