Hello,
I'm in the middle of purchasing a MKIV that is being held for me right now in Vancouver but now I have to go and pick it up. And that is the problem because the mountain roads have so much grit and sand on them I don't wanna have the car exposed.
So I was thinkin that I could fly out to the coast and rent some rental van and try and get it in a huge box truck or something?
I have a truck and a trailer and my dad thinks I should drive that out there and wrap the car with like huge quilts and try and cover the entire car with padding to prevent and debris from hitting it?
So how should I get my MKIV home?

Thanks

There are car shipping companies that will do it for you. MY dad was thinking of buying a red Supra in Van about 2 weeks ago and it was going to be $1500 to ship to Ontario. So I am estimating that it would be under $1000 to ship it here. Seek and ye shall find.;)

Would the car get scratched up from being in a train with ventilation holes?

The odds of the car getting here by any method other than a completely enclosed trailer without some scratches or grime are pretty much nil. Polishing compound exists for a reason ;)

Thanks for the help guys I think I'm going to look into getting it home through Hansens.

Does anyone know on here how wide a supra is I can't find out anywhere and I can't post on supraforums.com because when you first register you aren't allowed to post on the forums for a couple days or something? :banghead:
Because I will need to trailer it home from calgary and need to find out if my trailer is wide enough.

Thanks
Byron

So the cars stock?! Or is it modded but just stock looking....

Very nice choice, hopefully the shippers respect your ride and it stays looking flawless :)

Well it had a HKS Super Sequential BOV but he took it off because it broke:banghead: So hopefully this next weekend I can fly out to the coast and pay for the car and then get it ready to come home on the rail.
Hopefully I can sell my 300zxtt soon so that I'm not paying for both, however they will look mean in my garage together :bigpimp:
I'm pretty sure the quest to go BPU is gonna start really quick too :nut:
