View Full Version : Purchase & Download Windows 7 in Canada?
Can't find any information on if this is possible so I am going to assume it's not..
Looking to purchase Windows 7 upgrade and download it. I am fairly certain this is for US customers only, thought I'd ask just in case I am not seeing where this is possible? Tried going through the US website but it asks for a US address.

My wife spent a long time trying to find that and in the end went to best buy and paid for it.
I tried to tell her about demonoid, but she wasn't interested.
Yeah, I think I will end up at best buy this evening. Just wanted to make sure I didn't miss something by chance..

Yeah I spent way to long today trying to figure it out and in the end I may just hit the store and buy it. MemX has OEM copies if you want to just pickup the 32 or 64 bit as it's only one or the other.
Though I don't see why someone would get Windows 7 in 32bit.

I'm running a 64bit Windows 7 on a computer that has all of the above. Works just fine, better than vista was ever running.

You cannot run a 64-bit version of Windows 7 on a 32-bit processor....
If the program is specifically designed for the 64-bit version of Windows, it won't work on the 32-bit version of Windows. (However, most programs designed for the 32-bit version of Windows will work on the 64-bit version of Windows.)
Device drivers designed for the 64-bit version of Windows won't work on computers running a 32-bit version of Windows.

However there is several versions on win 7 that will have both versions on the disc.

Yeah but what would be the point of that slow dog of a system.
Might as well stick with an older stable OS if your running some old crap system.
