oh wow, never heard of locking lugs? Since it was in douglas dale, it almost makes me think its more so revenge then a random attack.

A friend of mine lives in Douglasdale and the person that lives across from him had his wheels stolen off his brand new truck. This was last year maybe september but it was left on blocks aswell.

if it was revenge id think they would be looking to smash his windows, tear his interior and just overall damage his truck.

Poor guy...

The Escalades come with those locking thingies, but apparently they are easy to break...

When I bought mine, someone at the dealership made a comment and let me know.

I've seen quite a few odd characters in the Douglas Glen/Douglas Dale area...

A friend of mine in Douglasdale told me the same story about a year ago as well.

He lives just off the end of 130th Ave SE

Very true... weird none the less. I guess its close to some lower income area's like Deer run, but still unexpected.

Bummer that, alarm and locking lugs about all you can do. Watch Kijiji and Craigslist.

Actually!!!!

Cadillac has some angle sensor that you can buy that hooks up to the factory security system... If you're vehicle get's jacked up, sets the alarm off... Perfect if you have the two way Cadillac remote...

I believe the option is designed exactly for if your vehicle get's jacked up.

Rough.... I would be pretty pissed if I woke up to this but then I have dealt with people in the same situation and they end up better with some 24s and some cash in their pocket due to the high cost of the factory wheels.
