Description :2006 Honda CR-V SE with low km's is up for sale. This is my moms vehicle and she purchased it brand new in July of 06. She has used it as her daily driver, mostly city miles other than a few trips out to the mountains. Never had any problems with the vehicle and has decided to upgrade to a 2010 Honda CR-V. Just so everyone is clear she is currently leasing the vehicle and instead of trading it into the dealership for a below cost price she's decided to try a private sale. She has already signed the papers for her new vehicle and the dealership is aware of her approach on the sale. All sales paper will be done the right way. ( Since she does not own the vehicle it won't be simply a bill of sale passed on to new owner but all the information is in line for a legal sale, and no GST with be added ) The car has had all regularly scheduled maintenance performed by T&T Honda. All receipts included. 4 brand new tires were professionally installed on November 21/09. ( 215/65R16 Tripletred at a cost of $724.46 ) Aftermarket additions include a 1 way remote start which has awesome range, Tinted windows and a hood gaurd ( slight piece has broken off as can be seen in the pictures. ) Options include P/W, P,M, Cruise, VSA ( traction control ) Keyless Entry, AWD. The windshiled does have some fair size cracks in it and Glassmasters has quoted me $199.00 for a new one. Other then the windshield and cracked hood gaurd this CR-V is mint. Lady driven, Low KMS, Non smoker and great on gas with the 2.4L! All original documentation is included. Please feel free to call myself ( Mike @ (403) 619-7261 ) if you have any additional questions or wanting to come for a test drive. Looking for a quick sale $20,500 obo!
Thanks for looking!

UPDATE NEWS

Honda has added almost 438,000 cars, mainly in North America, to a global safety recall over airbag inflation problems.

It broadens a recall announced in late 2008 for 4000 Accord and Civic sedans, which was expanded in mid-2009 to cover another 510,000 vehicles.

Honda is Japan's second-biggest carmaker. It said the defective airbags can overinflate and burst, spraying potentially deadly metal shards.

The fault has already been linked to 11 injuries and one fatality. Last month, Honda had to recall 650,000 Fit hatchbacks worldwide to fix a switch defect that could cause a fire.

The recall affects 378,000 cars in the United States and 41,000 in Canada.

The latest announcement also covers Japan, Mexico, Taiwan and Australia.

The BBC reports it is a fresh blow to Japanese carmakers: Toyota has recalled almost half a million hybrid cars over faulty brakes.

More than 8 million Toyotas have been recalled since last October for problems with slipping floormats and sticking accelerator pedals, linked to crashes that have killed at least 19 people.

Why did you post this? The recall has nothing to do with this model, this year or this vehicle.
