I was driving home tonight on 17th ave SE going eastbound, I see cop cherry's flashing so im wondering what happened. Drive up, a sunfire rear ended the bus, no damage to the bus tho, but the hood is curled up on the sunfire. Hopefully no one got hurt!

Yeah those sunfires are pretty weak. The worst part is that the bumper is pointed so they get pushed in even on minor fender benders. Not cheap to replace either so a lot of people drive around with their bumpers pushed in! :)

Not to sound like a sunfire fanboy or nothing, but the front end on any car is designed to crumple. When you get into a front end impact, you can either have the car absorb the impact or you can have the driver. Basically everything on the front of any car is designed to be a big metal and plastic pillow in a crash.

I think I know the bus driver that should race a sunfire.... saw a crazy bus driver at a light yesterday. It was about 5:30 in the morning, the guy is sitting at a green light revving the SH*T out of it, and drops it from neutral into drive, does about a 30 foot burnout and takes off.... Sounded like it was at the redline until he dropped it.
I didn't think the transmission on a bus would take that kind of punishment, especially since it was an older bus.
