Video isn't smooth when I go into full screen mode

When Im watching any streamed video, whether its DIVX, flash or WMP, and I click on full screen, the video becomes all choppy. My comp didnt use to do this. :( Help!

You should post your computer specs.

Update video card driver is probably the first thing.

Or open up task manager (with ctrl+alt+del) then play full screen and see what program uses the most CPU (and or memory).

My Computer was doing it too. Right click on the video and turn off hardware acceleration in settings.

If its doing it still after a reboot, you have something new using up your PC resources for this task.

I seem to get this when streaming the olympics off the ctv site. Since when does screen size affect playback speed. go figure.

Usually its video card drivers that do this... when they aren't updated and "stock" from the OS... they can't provide smooth video output... if you just install windows, you'll notice if you drag the windows around it'll seem choppy

So update your drivers first, if that doesn't work let us know
