intermittent wipers on 2000 windstar

intermittent wipers only move about an inch at a time when turned on, any answers out there?

Sounds like the wiper motor/tranny is pooched.... Maybe you still have warranty??

try bolting ( tightening) the bolts holding down the wipers, this happene with mine wehen it was loose

High and Low work,only the intermitent are inop?Do you have a tilt column,if so what happens to the wipers when you move the column up and down?
