Bliss Scene presents the 5th annual snowboard trip promises to be better then ever before. This all inclusive trip is what you need to melt the cold away. Don’t let the bus leave you behind! There are still spaces left!
VENUE
This year's destination is KICKING HORSE RESORT. In 2006 we stayed here, however, not on-mountain. A lot of people had mentioned that they'd pay the extra money for staying on the resort for convenience. So this year packages will include the following:
TRANSPORATION
Round-trip transportation provided on modern lavatory and video-equipped coaches. The drive is approximately 3.5-4 hrs long. There will be a liquor license on the buses. Must be 19+ years old.
SKIING
2 full day lift tickets

Lessons and rentals can be purchased on hill.
ACCOMMODATIONS
3 days / 2 nights stay at Gondola Plaza located ON HILL at the bottom of the Golden Eagle Express Gondola. These condos include two Glacier Mountaineer Lodges which are right next to each other. All units include a fully-equipped kitchen (so be sure to bring lots of food and booze for the weekend), bedrooms, a balcony with a view of the mountain resort, a BBQ, and don't worry, there are public hot tubs too!
RATES (PER PERSON)
8-Person Condo $340 + tax (2 bedroom w/ queen, plus loft with queen and pull-out)
6-Person Condo $345 + tax (2 bedroom w/ queen and pull-out)
4-Person Condo $370 + tax (1 bedroom w/ queen and pull-out)
2-Person Condo $490 + tax (1 bedroom w/ queen and pull out)
Non-skier prices are $70pp off whatever package you choose.
PARTY
Saturday night pub party right on the mountain.
REGISTRATION DEADLINE
Deposits of $100 (non-refundable) must be submitted in order to book and are due on January 3rd.
Full fees are due January 22nd as the hotel and bus company needs to be paid 31 days in advance.
Cancellation insurance is also available for purchase of $15 with final payment in the event you may have to cancel out. Please see attached Trip Cancellation Coverage form.
Late reservations or room changes less than one week from departure are subject to a $10 booking fee. Any name changes less than 3 days of departure are subject to a $5 booking fee.
PAYMENT OPTIONS
Any of the following options are acceptable:

- Cheque or money order (please email Bliss for "pay order" information)
- Cash (pay via online banking or you can email Bliss for meeting arrangements for payment)
Please contact the person who invited you and make arrangements to meet for payment collection. One person per condo needs to be assigned to collect all forms, monies, etc.
WAIVER
Please read the attached waiver form and understand the terms and conditions for this year’s ski trip to Kicking Horse. You do not have to print and sign it as you will be signing this form on the bus the day of departure with a tour guide as your witness.
DEPARTURE
There will be a meeting place (yet TBA) to load the buses on the Friday where you can park your cars there for the weekend (at your OWN RISK). Departure time will be 4:00pm.
For those who've gone the previous years, it is going to be another party! For those who haven't been, trust me...these trips are all about meeting new people, partying it up, and just the best times on the slopes with your friends. You don't want to be missing out on this!

FRIDAY:
12:00 pm Edmonton residents meet at Fort Edmonton Park to load buses
12:30 pm Buses depart for Calgary
4:00 pm Calgary residents meet at Deerfoot Mall to load buses
4:30 pm Depart for Golden, B.C. (drinking age is 19)
7:00 pm Border stop to put all alcohol under the bus due to BC liquor laws
8:30 pm Approximate arrival in Golden – please stay seated until your Tourguide has handed out the room keys and lift ticket packages.
SATURDAY:
Enjoy your day on the mountain and resort!
8:00 pm The Peaks Grill is ready for you at night...great Apre and then evening pub right attached to your condos on mountain. If you want a really nice dinner take the gondola up to the top and have supper up there at the Eagle’s Eye Restaurant (must make reservations for this).
SUNDAY:
9:00-9:30 am Pack and load luggage and coolers onto the bus out of your rooms
3:30 pm Load bus after a day of skiing/snowboarding
4:00 pm Bus departs for home sweet home
5:00 pm Stop to pull alcohol up onto the bus and smoke break
8:00 pm Calgary drop offs and Edmonton supper break
9:30 pm Red Deer drop offs and Edmonton smoke break
11:00 -11:30 pm Approximate arrival time home in Edmonton
