Ok my woman has shed a few pounds and wants a semi-decent semi-formal cocktail dress for her office Christmas party. Keep it under 400 bucks, this is not a prom or a wedding. I have no idea where you would go for such things. My budget is more than the department stores, but less than Holt etc. Something simple but nice.

Any ideas?

I think BCBG in TD Square should fit the bill nicely. The only thing I remember from that store was footing the $400 bill for the dress.

Yes, and thank you very much lah!

BCBG has GORGEOUS dresses. Check out Jacob if you want to spend around 150-250. They have nice basic black cocktail dresses whereas BCBG has more elegant ones. I was in there today and they have some really nice pink ones in! look at their complete line at www.bcbg.com

We were in Westhills and checked out Jacobs - they had 1 style and it was fugly.

I'll take her down to TD and check bcbg - I liked a few on their website that were pretty simple.

that jacob is a jacob connection... so the clothes are way too casual.. you need to go to a regular jacob
