Upgraded the front brakes from 320mm Brembos to 355mm Brembos and changed shoes to HRE 441Rs

For sure that is the best looking, best upgraded 5 yr old Bimmer I ever seen !

Serious money was spent on it ! Car look clean ! unlike some kids with silly "bolt on" body kits, and craps for their Bimmers!:dunno:

Well Clem's offered to help with the locating of aftermarket gear for my car; I'm sure with his expertise, my car (with aftermarket parts and a good wax job) will hopefully look just as nice come spring. :)

Hey clem, I would love to see pictures of your I.C.E. setup. I plan on keeping my factory deck and CD changer, but would just like a cleaner sound (maybe some Focal tweeters and mids) and maybe one or two JL 12" in the rear. :thumbsup:

Seriously take a look at the trunk setup and kick panels that were posted for sale here a few weeks ago. They were custom made for a e36 by audio concepts for focal fronts and a 13" focal sub. Cheap too!!!!

I should be down for a show or 2 in Cow Town this summer. Most likely the VUB at Olympic Oval being the first one.
As for the black E46 that came down to Calgary, I have no idea who it was.

My I.C.E. hasn't been "properly" setup yet. I plan on doing it in stages. I'll most likely have parts of the trunk done before show season starts. My sub is mounted in a pre-fab box right now.
The setup you're planning on is what I had initially (minus the component speakers). I had RCAs grafted onto existing speaker like outputs from the factory head going into a Crossfire vr300d amp which powered my JL 12w6v2. I got the IVA-D900 mid summer.
I'm not looking for a huge audio system but something with some good sound. Actually I'm shocked on how well my factorty fronts (HK) sounded with my sub. Then again it was slightly under powered.
Most likely I'll get a JL 500/1 to power the sub, JL 300/4 for the front components, Dynaudio or Diamond Audio components and couple/few more screens for the car and have the trunk all fancied up.
