I've seen lots of you sporting nice clean White shoes out at Meets, how do you keep your whites their whitest

Is there a trick to washing shoes?

I've heard throwing them in a Pillow Case and putting them in the Laundry machine works, can you dry clean them?

Any help would be appreciated, My DC's are a bit dirty from this weather.

just throw em in the washer with a laundry bag and they come out clean, make sure you use cold water though, hot ruins it. or you can go to a shoe store and purchase a cleaner and u just scrub that off and it gets it clean

Depends on the material...shoe polish or a suede cleaner usually works really well

on my shoes i just used paper towel and spray nine or some product like that. cleaned then right up. Now if its real leather, im not sure. suede is tough. water ruins, but im not sure what else does. how well does the suede cleaner work on suede?

just a plain white eraser actually helps a bunch sometimes, depends on the shoes and whats on them.

I have never used a laundry bag, just thrown them right in the washing machine, and never had any problems. I do however take the laces and insoles out, but they are still thrown right in with everything else. I have had a problem with my laces getting wrapped around the middle washer part, so now I leave them in two holes......

I forgot what it was called, but at Canadian Tire they sell this WD-8 or whatever crap. It looks like a toothepaste thing and the stuff, rub it onto your shoes like polish and they will be whiter than new. My cousin and I use this for our retro kicks and it doesn't ruin the leather or anything.
But for skate shoes they wouldn't be leather would they? Fabric? Well...I don't know hah :D

I've got about a billion pairs of basketball shoes and quite a few of them are white.

I never use the washing machine on my shoes cause it wears them out alot quicker in my opinon. As long as you have a good sneaker shampoo you'll be fine.

I have a pair of Steve Francis "Franchise" shoes from Reebok that I bought last Sept and they still look as new as they did when I took them outta the box.

I work for Aldo, and we sell cleaner for white shoes, they have to be leather or synthetic, but it works like a charm. If you get it, just make sure not to spray it directly on the shoe first, or it will wreck them, spay on a cloth. Its called spotless :D
