the “RC” or “Carlos Sainz” edition was made as a production homologated rally car in honor of WRC rally great Carlos Sainz. This exact car won “best in class” at the World of Wheels.

It is fully loaded,

-AWD turbo with rear Torsen differential
-AC with climate control
-Power everything (locks, windows, mirrors, etc)
-Power folding mirrors
-Power adjustable sport seats
-New stereo CD deck with iPod cable in glovebox

roughly 285 hp

the motor was pulled and refreshed by VEX Performance

All new seals
Poly engine mounts
3” stainless steel catless down pipe
new head gasket
new timing belt
new water pump
new ACT 6 puck sprung clutch
HKS Electronic in dash boost controller
Motul gear oil in the transmission and rear diff, (only the best for my baby)
Motul 5w30 in the motor

the car drives extremly smooth, and also has really good power.

Comes with 17” 5 spoke aluminum wheels with brand new sumer rubber
15” stock wheels with winter tires

and a whole bunch more I can't think of.

I didn't intend to sell this car and maintained it above and beyond the call, but I have to let it go. It will be a very good and fun car for someone!

Here is the write up on the GT4 RC

Fifth generation (1990-1993)
1991 Toyota Celica GT-Four "Carlos Sainz" ST185
The fifth generation Celica was introduced in October 1989 for 1990 model year. The Celica received revised styling, upgraded wheels and tires, and a more powerful GT-Four Japanese domestic market (JDM) models are S-R, Z-R, GT-R, Active Sports (with active suspension), and GT-Four.. and CT26 twin entry turbo to eliminate exhaust gas interference. The Full-time 4WD system in the GT-Four has viscous coupling limited slip center differential and Torsen rear differential.
Gearbox with close ratio on the 1st through 4th gear and 4.285 final ratio. All the RC/Carlos Sainz/Group A have E151F gearbox
The special rally edition of 5000 units was known as the GT-Four RC in Japan, Carlos Sainz (CS) in Europe (in honour of their famous WRC driver), or Group A Rallye in Australia. Special features include:
a different intercooler (WTA as opposed to ATA) which TTE wanted so they could more easily tune their WRC car;
different hood, the emphasis of which is to get rid of heat as fast as possible, (instead of scooping in air, as is the case with the standard ST185 hood);
different bumper which is much lighter than the standard one.
Out of 5000 units, 1800 were for Japanese market, 3000 were allocated to Europe, 150 in Australia, 25 in Singapore, and very few made a trip to New Zealand and general markets.
