View Full Version : Abusing Pizza 73's online checkout

Just thought I'd pass this along so here goes.

I first noticed you can sometimes abuse the online checkout when they had the free 12 piece wedgies with an order of 2, 9" two topping pizza's where you would select the deal, delete the pizza's, then you can select a specialty pizza and you can have wings for your second choice and still get the free 12 piece wedgies.

Well this time around pizza 73 has the movie mania deal where you get 2, 9" two topping pizza's, 4 cans of pop and a 2 for 1 movie pass which comes out to $17 + (gst, deposit, delivery). However, if you delete out the 4 cans of pop, the price for the pizza's is $12.59 + (gst and delivery) BUT you still get the 2 for 1 movie pass which a good deal already becomes a better deal.

it's to bad that pizza 73 is just about the crappiest pizza you can buy in Calgary.

Their pizza is pretty good imo, and I kinda knew about this flawed system but now I know for sure that I'll be ordering online from now on.

I'm pretty damn cheap (cut my own hair, shake water off vegetables in the store so they weigh less) but even this is too cheap for me.

What do you expect, half of Beyond did this last night instead of taking their GF to a nice restaurant and P73 caught on.

BTW, the best way to get a straight deal on the veggies is to dry them off and not use a bag. That way they don't screw you for the price of the bag when you weigh in.

btw you're doing it all wrong, you grab extra bags, grab the sku for old raisins in the bulk that are running .03cents. Self checkout, put in raisins sku

If you steal some plastic bags and eat a bunch of grapes the cost savings are great.

Fucking with self-checkout is shoplifting and hardly worth a criminal record. Should they decide to prosecute (My job always does, so I assume other places will always do it as well.)
When I was young and foolish (last year) I used to take shaving razors and put them under an apple and punch in the code for an apple, get 20 dollar razors for 60 cents. Never got caught, but it just doesn't seem worth it anymore.

it is stealing, but i will admit when younger and addicted to jelly bellys it was way to easy to put the code on the bag of regular jelly beans. I wouldnt self check out so if i did get caught it didnt look like i was stealing lol.
Either way 1 lb of jelly bellys was 10x more than the regular ones it seemed.
