^ I know eh. I can't believe how many people don't research on their own.

Mind boggling when you see someone sitting at a computer...think up a question....type it into a forum..then wait for multitude of opinions, sarcstic answers, and general nonsense...when in one simple step they could have the concrete answer for themselves.

I love LMGTFY.com (http://lmgtfy.com/?q=WCB+Alberta+-+What+Workers%E2%80%99+Compensation+provides)

either way without reading that link, its 55 or 60% of your pay.

60% of your pay... up to 44hrs per week... OT not included... doesn't matter if you've worked 80 hours a week for 5 years straight - you're getting 60% or 44hrs...

^^watch out for that, i know for a fact that its not 90%. if the gov finds out that they made a mistake, which they did and they will find out at some point, they will come for you to pay back the extra.

Not 90% of your wage. 90% of NET pay. I think thats what 2Blue was talking about, and thats what WCB pays.
And your net earnings are ALL your earnings, including any ot hours, extra days, bonuses etc. less normal deductions. (EI, CPP, and income tax) WCB will go by your "taxable income" reported with CCRA if paystubs arent available. Otherwise they go back and look at all your recent paystubs, including ALL earnings and then determine your net pay from those figures.
And WCB benefits are not taxable, but ARE to be reported in your total income.
